Cute and Silly Kitty Kitties Make Me Smile!

Kitty cat cuteness and silliness makes me smile every time I see it. Kitties are very amusing critters and they seem to know that! Any cat owner has all kinds of silliness going on in their house! I'm a cat owner myself, and I know how cats are. I have had many amusing kitty incidents happen in my home over the years. For instance, have you ever seen your cat fall from a high place and NOT land on its feet???? I have, and so has my mom. I remember one time while watching T.V. we heard a big commotion going on behind us. It kind of sounded like fingernails scraping on a chalkboard so we obviously turned around to see what it was.

I guess my kitty lost her balance, tried to grab on to something, but missed and went crashing down. As we turned around, we saw our cat falling from her perch and hit the ground on her side. We watched as she she got up, and tried to re-gain her reputation as a graceful cat. We looked at each other and snickered, trying not to laugh. The look on our cat's face was classic, it was obvious that she was embarrassed by her landing! After regaining her ground she disappeared into the next room with what little dignity she had left.

For those who don't know: a typical cat thrives on class, dignity, and perfection, and when they loose those things they feel awkward and embarrassed.

Another thing about cats: when they want your attention, they want you to give it to them right then and there! If you don't they will lay on whatever you're working on, demanding attention NOW!

Another funny thing cats do is find the strangest places to sleep. You would think most cats would want to lay on a comfortable bed! Guess again! A box, the bathroom sink, a bag, the ground, even a clay pot can be a kitty bed! If they find something that looks new and different, they'll sleep in it.

Just to prove how silly kitties can be, I found a whole bunch of crazy kitty pictures. And I overloaded this lens with the pictures, I didn't mean to, but I couldn't help it (cats are so cute!). I kept telling myself that I should delete some of them, but I didn't have the heart to. Every one of these pictures made me smile. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did. The picture above reminded me of one of my favorite movies. That kitten above looks just like the one in the movie. I loved this when I was kid and still love it. It's never on T.V. anymore so I had to buy it online. It makes me smile every time I watch it! :)
